For the next 3 weeks I will be spending time on the other side of the planet. Luckily I chose a relatively peaceful region known as New York State. Below is a porcelain work that made the 6,900 mile journey from Japan in its own seat on China Air. People gave me very strange looks as I carefully buckled the piece in. Inside this lidded form was a supposed antidote for jet lag. I took some, but it proves to be ineffective as I still can't sleep past 4 AM, three days after arriving. Maybe I should up the dose.
